Divya & Ollie Dickson 25 & 26 May 2024

Cardamom had the pleasure of meeting Divya & Ollie to plan their wedding over a year ago.

The couple struck us immediately as charming, elegant and good humoured, and they were surrounded by a loving and warm group of extended family and friends.

Their first wish was a Spanish style Mehendi party at their family house in Cala De Real, so we dressed the venue in colourful sari fabrics and served a wonderful traditional paella to their guests. The weather, the view and the family excitement made the first night the perfect ice breaker for all the guests to come together.

The big day comprised of 2 ceremonies. The Hindu and Western wedding ceremonies were organised separately at Atzaro Agroturismo in the Olive Garden and The Farm area with changes of outfits and styles. Both families were fully represented and the canapés and Indian wedding dinner were perfectly executed by Chef Lucia.

Our personal favourite part was a surprise acoustic performance by close friends Harriet, Grace & Tom of “You’re Still the One” which has special meaning to Craig and Navine from when they had their own Anglo-Indian wedding 23 years ago. Something they will share in common with our new friends Divya & Ollie forever…
