Purpose
This notice governs access to and use of cardamomevents.com. Using the site makes you a user of it and means you accept these terms.
The site exists to describe the event support Cardamom provides in Ibiza and Formentera, and to let people get in touch. Nothing is sold or contracted online.
Terms of use
You agree to use the content of this site properly, and not to use it for anything unlawful, anything that harms the rights of others, or anything that could damage, disable or overload the site or interfere with its normal use.
Intellectual property
The text, photographs, marks and logos on this site belong to Cardamom Catering Ibiza C.B. or to third parties who have licensed their use. They may not be reproduced, distributed or communicated publicly without express permission.
Liability
Cardamom is not responsible for what third parties do with the information on this site, nor for loss arising from its use. The site may link to third-party sites, whose content Cardamom neither controls nor answers for.
Governing law
This notice is governed by Spanish law, and any dispute goes to the courts with jurisdiction under it.

Who receives the data
Data is not passed to anyone else except where the law requires it. It is handled by the suppliers who provide services to Cardamom, acting as processors — or, for third-party cookies, as controllers in their own right:

International transfers
Google and Meta may process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. Both are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and additionally rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
These transfers only happen if you have consented to the relevant cookies. Without consent neither Google nor Meta receives anything from this site, because their scripts are never requested.
The site’s typeface is served from our own server. It is not requested from Google Fonts or any external network, so your IP address is not disclosed to a third party simply because you opened a page.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and forms: 12 months from the last contact. Where an enquiry becomes work, the record is kept for 5 years, as part of the commercial relationship and the legal obligations that come with it.
- Cookie consent record: 6 months from the moment it is given or refused.
- Analytics: 14 months, per the retention setting on the Google Analytics property.
- Advertising measurement: per Meta’s durations for the cookies listed in the cookie policy.
Your rights
You may ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before you did.
Write to info@cardamomevents.com, saying which right you are exercising and enclosing a copy of identification.
If you believe the processing does not comply, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency: C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid · www.aepd.es.
Automated decisions and minors
There is no automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects. The site is not aimed at children under 14 and their data is not knowingly collected.
Cookie policy
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others measure use or serve advertising and, under article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE and the GDPR, may only be set once you have agreed.
How consent is asked for
- On a first visit a notice appears at the foot of the page with two buttons of the same size on the same row: accept, or refuse. Refusing costs exactly what accepting costs.
- Until you accept, no analytics or advertising script is loaded. The cookies are not blocked — the code is never requested in the first place.
- The choice is kept for 6 months in a first-party cookie and can be changed at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer.
- Browsers sending a Global Privacy Control signal are treated as a refusal and are never shown the notice.
