A stunning 6 bedroom converted finca, it effortlessly combines chic boho style with a true feeling of island life.

The 600 year-old Finca is set in a large olive plantation and surrounded by green mountains. It enjoys a perfect location a short walk from the village of Santa Gertrudis, in the heart of the island and just minutes drive from anywhere. Butterfly beauty

Butterfly beauty

This year we created a stunning wedding in a private villa near to Cala Vadella where the bride wanted something beautiful to happen at the end of her ceremony.

With our creative hats on we sourced some butterflies which are ethically kept, to be released on demand and float out into the world, as a symbol of the start of their journey into marriage. More information available from info@cardamomevnets.com.

A wonderful wedding tale

A wonderful wedding tale

In 2014 we created a three day wedding extravaganza for the gorgeous Sophie And Christian. Two years later, it still sticks in our mind as one of our favourite events to have organised. The talented photographer Jimena Roquero has also recently blogged about the event. Check out the full post here:

The beauty of canapes

The beauty of canapes

Canapés. Usually used as part of an event opening, good canapés play a large factor in an event kicking off well. From supporting the events theme or concept, to being an aspect of focus for guests who need a conversation starter, to keeping hungry stomachs at bay ahead of the main food service, canapés really are an important factor to consider. In Ibiza, many opt for Spanish themed canapés, which really set the scene for an event. Here is our perfect recommendation of event canapés for this summer, from our event menu:

CARDAMOM RECOMMENDED CANAPES SUMMER 2016
Traditional andalusian gazpacho
Grilled mediterranean chicken brochettes, marinated in paprika & garlic

Grilled king prawns with lemon & chilli (below image)
Spanish tortilla & piquillo pepper brochette

Brochette of sun dried tomato, baby mozzarella, basil & olives

Canape information:
50 guests
5 canapé types
Approx 1.5 canapé type per person
1.5 hrs
Mix of hot/cold
All canapés labelled with allergy information
Recommended drinks: Cava sangria Or cucumber and mint water

Top tips to stay relaxed before your wedding in Ibiza

Top tips to stay relaxed before your wedding in Ibiza

Although one of the most incredible periods of your life, the run up to your wedding in Ibiza can also be a time of pressure for you, as adrenaline runs high when you and all of your friends and family arrive to a foreign destination to celebrate your big day, where all eyes will be on you!  Staying as relaxed as possible will ensure you have the time to process everything and savour, remember every part, as well as feel well and energetic throughout. Here are a few tips that we advise our clients, to help you stay calm before your big day.

1. Schedule some quality time with each other

It is easy in the run up to your wedding to fill up every moment with overthinking, adjusting or completing the final details, making lots of plans to see your various friends and family who have travelled far and wide to see you and of course wanting to enjoy Ibiza’s beaches, restaurants and lifestyle. If you schedule some empty spots in to just spend time with your finance, you will be able to ensure you have some down time and don’t exhaust yourself before the big day, plus after all this is your wedding week so some romantic time is a must!

2. Pamper yourselves

There are some really important factors which will help ensure you look and feel great for your wedding day – these seem obvious but are easily forgotten before your wedding. Sleep and rest will ensure you look and feel energetic on your wedding day. If you have time for a spa day, or just a facial and massage, there are some fabulous options available in Ibiza to suit a range of style and budgets. Why not combine 1 & 2 tips and schedule a spa day with your fiancee – massages and facials will relax you and ensure you’re both looking your best for the wedding photos! Win win.

Full swing in events season

Full swing in events season

We’ve just had a pretty busy few days! Congratulations to Elizabeth & Ben plus 90 guests, who we created a three day wedding for. Here’s what we delivered…

Staring with a rehearsal dinner at La Paloma on Thursday night, we took over the venue for a romantic rehearsal dinner. Guests arrives to a decorated venue to enjoy cava fruit cocktails and canapes, welcome speeches & then a three course dinner with optional seabass, filet steak or Aubergine for mains. This really was the perfect way for the guests to meet each other and start the celebrations.

The next morning began with a private yoga session for the bridal party and beach session for the groomsmen. A fresh and healthy lunch followed while everyone got ready and the photographer began to take photos. Guests started to arrive via VIP transport from 17:00hrs to a mythical forest space. Flip flops and sun parasols were given to guests to keep cool before the bride entered in a stunning Jenny Packham dress and the service was conducted by a family friend. Afterwards, the flower girls led the guests through the forest with tambourines and shakers to a private villa where a modern string quartet played and guests enjoyed cava before speeches at sunset. Next up was dining in a romantic pomegranate courtyard where a menu of beetroot carpaccio, slow roasted lamb and espresso martinis were served. The party then followed in a moroccan garden including a DJ, saxophonist, panoramic projections across the surrounding landscape and dancing under the stars. Nannies took care of the children while the adults relaxed and enjoyed themselves.

The final day of events then came, in the form of a mini festival! This started with bloody mary’s to cure the previous days drinking, alongside a luxury hog roast, crepe and ice cream stations and some relaxing head and shoulder massages. Next came face embellishment, high end dress up items, a gine station, DJ, percussionist and dancing. Marshmellows by the fire pit then arrived alongside a snack of mini mac & cheese pots (a favourite of the groom!) and finally a surprise fire show. Photos to follow.

Everything events – bespoke!
