McDonalds France Celebrate 40 Years!


Cardamom Events Ibiza were delighted to be brought on-board, quite literally, to assist the brilliant Havas Events France on the 40 year celebrations of Mcdonalds France.

As island experts when it comes to corporate events, we knew we were confident that they would be over-the-moon with our inputs!

The fiesta begun at the world-famous Destino, the luxury hotel which is part of the iconic Ibiza Pacha Group. We were drafted in to design and create the floral arrangements for which we used one of our favourite suppliers El Ramo De Flores Ibiza.

Dinner and entertainment poolside under the Ibiza skies continued well into the night.

The next day, the party moved onto a grand cruise liner. Our florists had to fly to Mallorca to source the flowers, then travel with the ship to Ibiza and set up in the way!

All in all, we think the McDonalds team had the time of their lives!

Ibiza gets spooky!

This is the time of year everyone in Ibiza starts to think about one thing – Halloween! Many adults in Ibiza see this day as the grande finale party of the year and it has not failed to deliver some incredible events in previous years! People of the island and many visitors go all out in fancy dress to have a real spooky session.

Cardamom recommends…

It’s September. For many people in Ibiza that means time to finally start to ease off the throttle of summer madness – plus the vacation crowd attracted to September often seek a slightly more luxurious and relaxing trip to the island. Why? Well, the weather gets slightly less scorching yet the days are still long and warm, the sea is now at perfect dipping temperature, and with slightly fewer tourists, the overall island energy (and traffic!) is much more pleasurable.

Our September recommendation therefore comes in the form of the 5 star Aguas de Ibiza Revival Spa. At 40€ to access for non hotel guests (which includes use of the pools and steam rooms), and with bolt on Clarins treatments and restaurant options such as a set three course lunch, there is arguably no better way to unwind in Ibiza. The Santa Eulalia spa was renovated last winter and now hosts some beautiful spaces to unwind and you leave feeling like you’ve received a true 5 star experience.

We visited the spa a couple of weeks ago and the experience was simply magical. Opting for the three course lunch which included a salad starter, chicken main and fruity desert we then entered the spa and did the rounds of the steam rooms and jet pool – to ease up our knotty shoulders until we received Clarins hot stone massages – which were incredible. The staff were polite, professional and calming – as was the entire experience (which came in at around 200€). Just what we needed!

Aguas is also a fantastic venue to host your Cardamom event (think rooftop birthday drinks with marina views, a wedding in a luxurious courtyard or hosting a dinner in one of the many fine dining restaurants at Aguas), plus the bedrooms and suites are divine (group bookings made through Cardamom receive a 10% discount). Something sweet

Something sweet

One of our gorgeous couples wanted something special and sweet this year. We did a vanilla bean lactose free cake topper covered in marshmallows and dripping chocolate (to cut), with a macaroon tower alongside it (raspberry, vanilla and almond flavours), which added some colour and fun to this beautiful wedding.

The peak of summer has arrived!

The peak of summer has arrived!

Every year the UK’s BBC Radio One descends on Ibiza in early August for a jam packed weekend of fun and this year is no exception – it’s seen as the weekend to be in Ibiza and we can’t wait to experience it’s 21st year on our beautiful island. Tonight starts with the annual free party hosted by Annie Mac at Ushuaia and follows with Essential mixes and a range of the radio shows being broadcast live from the island and featuring music from some of dance musics most iconic and popular DJs. Although we are crazy busy putting on our own Cardamom events all summer, we do love to show some appreciation for other events happening & try to go to them (especially free ones!) where possible – plus, it attracts a whole host of other brands and celebrities to join! Last night saw Warner Music UK host a yacht party in the middle of the Ibiza Town port which brought guests in golf buggies through the town including Pete Tong, Nick Grimshaw, David Guetta, James Blunt, Monki & Robin Schultz.
